A Guthrie woman was arrested Wednesday on drug trafficking and gun charges.
Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy Kenrick Harris stopped a vehicle on Goebel Avenue in Elkton for a moving violation. A news release says investigation determined a passenger—28-year old Ashley Shumake of Guthrie—was in possession of meth, hydrocodone, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.
She was arrested for trafficking in meth, trafficking in opiates, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
Deputy Tracey Mayberry assisted in the investigation.
