Saturday’s College Basketball previews

The Kentucky Wildcats are back in Southeastern Conference action at Vanderbilt. The 20th ranked Wildcats have won five of their last six games and are 13-3 overall/3-1 in the SEC. Coach John Calipari talks about the Commodores:

Kentucky leads the all time series 142-47. The Commodores have lost their last two games and stand 6-10 overall and 1-3 in the SEC. Pre game coverage from Memorial Gym begins at 1:30 on Lite Rock 98.7.

Other action in the SECincludes Tennessee hosting Texas A&M. The 23rd ranked Vols are 11-4 overall and 2-2 in SEC play including back to back wins over Kentucky and Vanderbilt. The Aggies have dropped four straight and are 11-5 overall/0-4 in the SEC.

Louisville returns home to face Virginia Tech. The Cards got a big road win at Florida State Wednesday night to improve to 12-4 overall and 4-1 in ACC play.

Western Kentucky is back in Conference USA action in Charlotte. The Hilltoppers remain undefeated in Conference USA at 4-0 and are coming off a win Thursday night at Old Dominion. Pregame coverage begins at 5:30 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Ohio Valley Conference action has Austin Peay playing a men’s/women’s doubleheader at Jacksonville State. Both Governor teams lost Thursday night at Tennessee Tech. Murray State also plays a men’s/women’s twin bill at Tennessee Tech with both teams coming off losses at Jacksonville State Thursday night.

Other women’s action includes Western Kentucky at Alabama Birmingham.
