Several sources are reporting Western Kentucky coach Mike Sanford could be a major candidate for the head coaching vacancy at Arizona. Sanford led the Hilltoppers to a 6-7 finish this past season, good for third place in Conference USA’s East Division and had the worst rushing total in the nation. Before coming to WKU, Sanford was offensive coordinator at Boise State and Notre Dame.
