A medical condition led to a three-vehicle wreck Tuesday afternoon at Fort Campbell Boulevard and Country Club Lane that injured two people.
The collision report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Clevin Robinson says 38-year old Lashacia Sheffield of Oak Grove was southbound on the Boulevard about 4:30 p.m. when she suffered a medical emergency, lost control of her SUV and rear-ended a pickup driven by 19-year old Brett Vaughn of Crofton, pushing it into the rear of a vehicle operated by 55-year old Rebecca Bradley of Hopkinsville.
Sheffield’s SUV flipped several times before finally coming to rest in the opposite lane of travel.
Sheffield was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment and she was cited into court for not having insurance. Vaughn was hurt, but declined a trip to the hospital.
