The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is mourning, after the sheriff’s deputy that was badly injured in a crash in Clarksville passed away Monday.
In an update from the Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Joshua Beck succumbed to the injuries he sustained in a motorcycle crash while off-duty on July 14. He had been in the hospital since the crash happened in critical condition.
Beck was a Marine Corps Veteran and held several positions with Montgomery County SO. Officials say he will be sorely missed by the many friends and colleagues he has worked with and most especially by his family.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug 2, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lone Oak Baptist Church and again on Saturday, Aug 3, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Lone Oak Baptist Church. Burial and Marine Corps Honors will follow at Ryes Chapel Cemetery.
