A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close the U.S. 41 ramp to northbound Pennyrile Parkway at Mannington beginning Monday.
According to a news release, the closure is anticipated to last for around 60 days as work is conducted to rehabilitate the ramp to interstate standards as part of the ongoing process to convert the Pennyrile Parkway to Interstate 169.
Motorists can detour around the closure by continuing northbound on U.S. 41 to U.S. 62 in Nortonville.
This route does include limitations for over-weight and over-dimensional loads at the East Louisville Avenue bridge. Vehicles with potential conflicts should seek a different route.
