KSP offering reward for information in Marshall Co. murder case

Kentucky State Police are now offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment in a murder case out of Marshall County.

According to a news release, anyone with information into the death of Jesse Moore—who was found deceased at a residence in the Possom Trot area of Marshall County on June 27—that results in an arrest or an indictment could receive a $1,000 reward.

As previously reported, troopers responded to an abandoned vehicle located in the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area that was discovered by the U.S. Forestry Service. Troopers went to a residence in the Possom Trot area of Marshall County to conduct a welfare check into the known operator of the abandoned vehicle, 44-year-old Jesse Moore of Benton. Upon arrival, they discovered Moore deceased from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

An autopsy confirmed Moore as the victim, and his death is being investigated as murder.  Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact KSP Post 1 at 270-856-3721.
