Former Christian County baseball player Bobby Irving named to Summer Collegiate Baseball All-Star Team

June 30, 2024. Bobby Irving of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, has been named to the 2024 Power Summer Collegiate League (PSCL) All-Star Team. Irving, a 2024 graduate of Christian County High School was the Colonels’ varsity catcher all four years and has committed to Shawnee Community College in Southern Illinois for the 2024-25 school year. The sole player representing Kentucky, Irving has a caught stealing percentage (CS%) of 70%, and is currently batting .294 for the Palm Springs Bombers.

Based in Palm Springs, California, PSCL’s primary focus is player development and advancement. Currently in its 7th year, PSCL, comprised of collegiate players from all over the United States and overseas boasts several MLB drafts picks and hundreds of college commitments. The League’s 2024’s 20+ game season is played from 10 June to 10 July.

The 2024 PSCL All-Star Game will be played at Palm Springs Stadium on July 4, 2024,
