The Western Kentucky State Fair is full steam ahead after a closure due to stormy weather, and Friday brings a full slate of events, rides and tractor pulls.
Bring your ear protection to the grandstands starting at 7 p.m. as the Mid-South Truck and Tractor Pulls start their competition—grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $5 for those ages six through 12, and then kids under five get in free. Fair Board Chair Brad Hewell says the rain won’t stop the show from going on at that track.
It’s a $25 armband night for unlimited rides and a cornhole competition starts in the air-conditioned convention center starting at 7 p.m.
4-H Cloverville, FFA Exhibits and the Home and Home and Garden Show Exhibit Checkout start at 8 a.m. in the convention center.
Due to the weather Wednesday closing the fair, Military and First Responder Day and discounts will be honored on Thursday.
