Truck and tractor pulls, Christian Co. Farm Bureau Day set for Thursday at WKSF

The Western Kentucky State Fair is back at it again Thursday, with Christian County Farm Bureau Day and Farm and Altered Farm Tractor and Truck Pulls in store.

The gates open at 4:30 p.m. and Farm Bureau members can get in free with a coupon until 6 p.m. Barry Cornelius with Christian County Farm Bureau appeared on WHOP and says if you didn’t receive a card, you can pick one up at any of their locations and they’ll have their annual meeting starting at 6 p.m.

He says following the meeting, they’ll have a concert in the air-conditioned convention center with the Todd County Boys starting at 6 p.m.

The 4-H/FFA Market Goat Show gets underway in the livestock pavilion starting at 6 p.m. and then the Farm and Altered Farm Tractor and Truck Pulls take over the grandstands starting at 7 p.m. Fair Board Chair Brad Hewell says don’t forget there’s plenty of good food to pick from at the Western Kentucky State Fair.

Thursday is a $25 armband night for unlimited rides—a full schedule of events for the week can be found on westerkentuckystatefair.org.
