One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 68-80 and East Ninth Street Wednesday morning.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Jarmiyah Carneal of Hopkinsville was yielding in the turning lane from 68-80 to East Ninth at the yield sign, when she was struck from behind by a vehicle operated by 23-year-old Joshua Durbon of Hopkinsville.
Durbon reportedly didn’t see Carneal yielding as she looked left to check for traffic.
Carneal was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of a possible head injury.
