The Christian County School Board accepted the resignation of former District One Board Representative Jeff Moore and approved advertising the vacancy at their special called meeting on Tuesday.
At the board’s April 18 meeting, Moore announced that he was retiring from his position. On Tuesday, the board unanimously approved Moore’s resignation. Before reading the acceptance motion, Board Chair Tom Bell thanked Moore for his tenure on the board.
After accepting Moore’s resignation, the board then approved for the District One seat vacancy to be advertised, Bell read the motion.
Moore served on the board for nearly six years.
