The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that the two-way stop located at the intersection of Pyle Lane, Major Lane and KY 272 also known as Canton Pike will be transitioning to a four-way stop.
According to the announcement, the transition will occur on Tuesday, April 23 with new traffic lights set to be installed. Currently traffic on Major Lane and Pyle Lane must stop while traffic on Canton Pike does not stop.
The cabinet advises for motorists in the area to keep an eye out for workers and equipment while the work is being completed. Signs will also be installed along Canton Pike to make sure motorists are aware of the change.
