The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating after human remains were found in the 11000 block of Fort Campbell Boulevard Thursday.
According to HPD Sgt. Ceasar Sierra, the deceased subject is possibly male, but height, weight and race were indeterminable due to the level of decomposition, signaling the body had been there for some time. It was discovered by a work crew around 11 a.m. Thursday that was working on a nearby billboard.
The deceased was being taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Madisonville for an autopsy, and unless something is revealed then, foul play is currently not suspected.
