Kentucky and especially Keene Trace Champions in Nicholasville is serving host to this week’s PGA Tour event, the Barbasol Championship. Brittany Lincicome is the sixth woman to play with the men and opened play Thursday with a four over par 76:

Troy Merritt tied the course record with a 10 under 62 Thursday and leads Andres Romero, Billy Horschel and Joel Dahmen by three shots. Newly minted pro and recent UK grad Cooper Musselman had a two under par 70 and Chip McDaniel, a recent UK grad also playing in his first pro event fired a two over 74.
