There will be sendoffs for the Christian County baseball and softball teams as they head to the KHSAA State Tournaments.
The baseball team leaves for Lexington today, with the sendoff at Colonel Field at 2:30 pm. Christian County meets Paintsville in its opening game at Whittaker Bank Ballpark Friday afternoon, with the Heritage Bank pregame show at 12:30 on Lite Rock 98.7 and online at lite987whop.com.
The softball team sendoff will be at 1:30 pm Thursday at Lady Colonel Field. The Lady Colonels meet Marshall County in their first game at 7pm, with the Heritage Bank pregame show at 6:45 also on Lite Rock 98.7 and online at lite987whop.com.
