Murray State University coach Matt McMahon announced in a statement today that Byron Hawkins will be granted his release so he can explore graduate transfer possibilities. Hawkins averaged 7.2 points and 1.3 rebounds in 30 games for the Ohio Valley Conference Racers this past season.
