For the third straight year, the 2nd region winner was eliminated in the opening round of the Boys Sweet 16 today as University Heights was blitzed by Campbell County 82-67.
KyKy Tandy led the Blazers with 31 points with Taquon Hollowell and Malik Lovan each adding 11 as University Heights finishes the season 23-8. Campbell County wins for the first time is six tries of playing in the Sweet 16 and will meet the winner of tonight’s McCracken County-Oldham County game in the quarterfinals tomorrow night.
