Hopkinsville Police arrested a woman Saturday night after she allegedly assaulted her boyfriend.
Charged with second-degree assault, domestic violence and tampering with evidence is 24-year old Alexis Lewis of Hopkinsville. An incident report says she used some type of object to strike her boyfriend during a dispute at a Hayes Street residence about 7 p.m.
She also allegedly tried to hide evidence from officers on scene.
The victim sustained a severe laceration in the assault, according to police.
