Murray State clinched a share of the Ohio Valley Conference regular season title with a 76-66 win at Eastern Illinois. Terrell Miller Jr. had 20 points and 12 rebounds in the win for the Racers who are now 23-5/15-2 in the OVC.
Austin Peay clinched third place in the OVC with a 86-82 win at SIU Edwardsville. Chris Porter-Bunton led the Governors with 23 points as Austin Peay improved to 17-12/12-5 in the OVC. Austin Peay and Murray State face off in a men’s/women’s doubleheader at the Dunn Center tomorrow night.
Western Kentucky routed Charlotte 93-55 at EA Diddle Arena. The Hilltoppers got 19 points from Josh Anderson and Justin Johnson pitched in 16 as WKU secured a first round bye for the Conference USA tournament. The Toppers are now 21-7/13-2 in CUSA and host Old Dominion tomorrow night, with pregame coverage at 5:30 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
