Trent Haddock files for Circuit Court Clerk

Trinity “Trent” Haddock has announced he’ll run in this year’s election for Christian Circuit Court Clerk—the position his father is retiring from at the end of the year and that his late grandfather held for about two decades.

The Democrat says he’s wanted the job all his life and believes he has the qualifications to serve.

Haddock resigned from his position at Probation and Parole in order to run for the office.

He says he would not make any major changes in the circuit clerk’s office and would focus on being sure the deputy clerks have the tools they need to serve the public well.

Haddock will host a campaign announcement and meet and greet event Thursday, January 18 at 5 p.m. in the Christian County Democratic Party headquarters.

Paige Parker filed her papers this week and will face Haddock in the Democratic primary.
