The Murray State Racers saw their five-game win streak snapped in a 76-71 defeat at Jacksonville State. Jonathan Stark tallied 29 points. The Racers placed only one other scorer in double-figures with Terrell Miller, Jr., scored 10 points to go with a team–high nine rebounds. Murray State is 12-4/4-1 in OVC play and will be at Tennessee Tech tomorrow.
The Murray State women’s basketball team couldn’t overcome a slow start Thursday night at Jacksonville State as the Racers fell to the Gamecocks 97-65. Ke’Shunan James led all scorers with 29 points in the game. The Racers (5-11, 1-4 OVC), return to action tomorrow night at Tennessee Tech.
