Tour the tombstones with the Museums of Hopkinsville! We will kick off the Hoptown Harvest Festival in Riverside Cemetery on Thursday, September 27 at 5pm. Enjoy a traditional boxed supper before convening inside the Riverside Chapel. There, we will hear from folks who have made contributions to Christian County’s agricultural heritage. Meet people like Kentucky’s first Commissioner of Agriculture, the county’s first extension agents, and a whole family who raised tobacco during the Tobacco War era. This long-standing event explores the history of our community by learning more from those who came before us. Supper will be served at 5:00, and the show will start at 5:45pm. Call the Museum at (270) 887-4270 to reserve your spot!
