The Madisonville Police Department is investigating a bomb threat at Browning Springs Middle School on West Arch Street.
According to a news release, school resource officers at the school were made aware of the threat around 10:30 a.m. and quickly evacuated all students and staff as a precaution. A search of the building was conducted by multiple agencies and was eventually deemed safe for students to return.
Students and faculty have resumed normal activities and no one was injured during the incident.
The threat continues to be investigated by the Madisonville Police Department.
