Kuttawa woman facing multiple charges following Princeton pursuit

A Kuttawa woman is facing multiple charges following a foot pursuit in Princeton Saturday night on North Darby Street.

According to a news release from the Princeton Police Department, officers responded to North Darby Street around 9 p.m. for reports of a wanted person in the area. Contact was made with 27-year old Leighann Boyd of Kuttawa, who allegedly fled on foot when told she had a warrant out for her arrest.

Boyd was taken into custody following a short foot pursuit and was charged with second-degree wanton endangerment, second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest and operating a vehicle on a DUI suspended license.

She was additionally served with two warrants for failure to appear out of Lyon County.
