Farm Bureau names Comer ‘Outstanding New Congress Member’

The American Farm Bureau Federation presented Congressman James Comer with its first Outstanding New Member of Congress award Sunday at its 100th Annual Convention.

Kentucky Farm Bureau endorsed Comer for the award.

Comer served on the conference committee that ironed out a compromise on last year’s Farm Bill and the federation commended him for his work on the legislation.

Congressman Comer was Kentucky’s Commissioner of Agriculture before being elected to the U.S. House in 2016.
