HCC selected as Bellwether Award finalist

Hopkinsville Community College has been selected as one of 30 community college finalists for the Bellwether Award.

According to a news release, the Community College Futures Assembly issued a call for Bellwether Award nominations in fall of 2018 and out of over 200 applicants, the search has been narrowed down to 30. Ten finalists were selected in each category, which include Instructional Programs and Services, Planning, Governance and Finance and Workforce Development.

Hopkinsville Community College is a finalist in the Planning, Governance and Finance portion.

All finalists will present at the Assembly on February 4th in San Antonio, Texas, and one winner will then be selected from each category by a panel of national experts within each category. The winners will be announced on February 5th at the CCFA annual meeting.
