Hopkinsville High recognized its boys team over the weekend at a banquet. Several players received awards including: Ryan Roussel as Offensive Player of the Year, Mason Rye was Defender of the Year, Trace Pound-Defensive Impact Award, Mason Marshchand-Big Impact Award and Xavier Bussell won the Coach’s Award. The Tigers finished 19-7-2 and for the first time in school history, played their way into the semifinals of this year’s KHSAA State tournament.
