Jennifer Maddux hired to Planter’s Bank position

Former United Way of the Pennyrile Jennifer Maddux has been hired by Planter’s Bank to serve as Community Reinvestment Act Officer.

According to a news release, Maddux served as United Way President for several years and has an extensive background working with agencies in Hopkinsville and Christian County. She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Speech Communication. She is also a graduate of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts and the Fund Raising School of Indiana University.

Maddux’ is the past Executive Director of the Christian County Library and Literacy Council Board Member for the Christian County Chamber of Commerce, and Peer Advisor for the Kentucky Arts Council. She was the Executive Director of the Pennyroyal Arts Council from 1999 until 2004.
