Women’s Scores: Western Kentucky trailed by 13 at halftime but fell short at Oklahoma 90-83. Other action saw Austin Peay rout Christian Brothers 100-62, Louisville routed UT Chattanooga 75-49 and Middle Tennessee defeated Vanderbilt 65-58.
Tonight’s games: Western Kentucky plays its home opener hosting UT Martin. The teams last met in the 1998 season in Martin when the Skyhawks won 70-67. Tipoff is at 6 in EA Diddle Arena.
Murray State welcomes Wright State in the Racers season opener. It’s one of two games this evening involving teams that played in last season’s NCAA Tournament. Just before this game, Murray State’s women’s team entertains Oakland City.
