Man arrested for DUI after injury crash

Alcohol is suspected as a factor in a wreck on Pembroke Road Saturday night that injured three people.

It happened just before midnight, according to the collision report from Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Burgess, which says 61-year old Anthony Aldridge of Hopkinsville was southbound when he attempted to make a left turn into the Pit Stop and drove into the path of 67-year old Shelia Mitchell of Pembroke.

Their vehicles collided, injuring Mitchell and her passengers—55-year old Edith Harris and 64-year old Daisy Chambers of Pembroke. All three were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Aldridge was arrested for DUI, wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to maintain insurance and other charges.
