A number of local junior golfers are playing in the GO Junior Golf Series Hopkinsville Tour Championship event being held today at Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.
Princeton’s Emma Talley is in the field for the LPGA Tour’s Marathon Classic beginning today in Sylvania, OH.
The PGA Tour’s John Deere Classic also begins today. Bryson DeChambeau is the defending champion.
PGA Tour Champions is at the Constellation Senior Players Championship in Highland Park, IL. Franklin’s Kenny Perry, Paducah’s Russ Cochran and Union’s Steve Flesch are in the field.
Next week’s Barbasol Championship at Keene Trace Champions in Nicholasville received a commitment Wednesday from Billy Horschel. The five time PGA Tour winner was the 2014 Fed Ex Cup champion. The tournament will be contested next Thursday through Sunday.
