Hopkinsville will soon be home to both a Dunkin’ Donuts and a Baskin Robbins, with both to be located at the empty Taco Johns building on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
A sign was posted outside the building across the street from McDonald’s Thursday along with the phrase “coming soon”. Taco Johns was in that building from December 2015 until shutting its doors for good on October 2017.
City Administrative Officer Troy Body says that the business could possibly open sometime in September after work is completed on the building. He says that the City of Hopkinsville is excited for this new business that shows growth in the community, and welcomes it to Hopkinsville. A post about the opening on the Hopkinsville Convention and Visitor’s Bureau’s Facebook page was met with excitement and enthusiasm.
