Indictments returned for robbery, rape by Logan County grand jury

A Logan County Grand Jury returned indictments for rape, first degree robbery and more Tuesday against several men.

According to a news release from the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney, a grand jury has indicted Edward Smith for 20 counts of sodomy and 20 counts of sexual abuse, all in the third degree. John Bailey is indicted on charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and unlawful imprisonment.

Two men were indicted for first-degree robbery—Kevin McKenny and Latravious Hines—who are also facing other charges. Hines is indicted for theft by unlawful taking over $10,000, terroristic threatening, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and persistent felony offender.

McKenny is also indicted for fourth-degree assault, violation of an EPO and theft by unlawful taking.

Two people are indicted on charges of cultivating marijuana—Misti Crawford and Eric Hopper. Crawford is also indicted for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia.  Hopper is indicted for being a persistent felony offender and possession of drug paraphernalia.
