Murray State announced Dan Skirka as its new head coach Monday. Skirka had been serving as recruiting coordinator at Walters State Community College.
He served as Racers assistant coach from 2009-14 and was recruiting coordinator. Skirka produced eight All-Ohio Valley Conference selections including the 2014 OVC Pitcher of the Year. He becomes the ninth head coach in Murray State history.
