Young Hightower
Two Lewisburg residents were arrested on drug charges following an investigation Sunday afternoon by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputy Kyler Harvey saw 36-year old Anthony Young and 36-year old Michael Hightower of Lewisburg working on a vehicle in the parking lot of a Gordonsville Road business just before 1 p.m. and knew Young was wanted on a warrant, according to a news release.
A baggie containing methamphetamine was out in plain view and both men were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Young was additionally served with the warrant for contempt of court.
