Madisonville Police charged a man with DUI following a wreck Saturday morning.
A news release says just before 8 a.m., 36-year old Jerome Patterson of Madisonville left West Nole Avenue, entered the Dollar General parking lot and struck a parked car and a fire hydrant. He continued through a chain link fence and came to rest after hitting a flatbed trailer.
Patterson was arrested and charged with his second DUI and for possession of marijuana.
