Elsewhere in the OVL last night: Paducah defeated Owensboro 5-1 and Dubois County bombed Fulton 14-6. The Henderson County-Muhlenberg County game was rained out and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Wednesday.
It’s an off day for the OVL, with the Hoppers back in action tomorrow night at Henderson.
OVL Standings: The Hoppers at 12-7 lead Madisonville by a game and a half. The Miners are 11-9. Paducah stands in third place at 10-11, three games back and Fulton is in the basement at 6-13 and 5 ½ games back.
Owensboro continues to lead the East Division at 14-7. Dubois County at 10-9 is three games back, Henderson at 10-10 is 3 ½ back and Muhlenberg County is 5-12 and seven games off the pace.
