The Hoptown Hoppers ended a three game losing streak last night, doubling up Muhlenberg County 6-3. Cole Cummings and Blake Jackson each had three hits with Max Remy adding two for the Hoppers who had a 6-1 lead after four innings before the Stallions plated single runs in the 7th and 8th innings. Brian Coffey went eight innings to get the pitching win with Hassan Westbrook getting the save.
The Hoppers return home tonight to host East Division leader Owensboro (WEATHER PERMITTING) at 7:05 on Baseball Movie night, with pregame at 6:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and whopam.com.
