The City of Hopkinsville has a budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1st after second and final reading of the $36.4 million spending plan was approved at a special-called city council meeting Thursday evening.
Mayor Carter Hendricks noted again that the special meeting became necessary after a minor error was found in the original document after it was approved the first time.
All nine city council members in attendance voted in favor of the budget.
