Police in Franklin, TN arrested Nashville Predators forward Austin Watson over the weekend on a charge of domestic assault.
The Tennessean reported that Watson was arrested Saturday night in the 1400 block of Murfreesboro Road. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a convenience store with Watson admitting he shoved his girlfriend according to an affidavit. Investigators say the two had been involved in an argument.
The 26-year-old Watson was released from jail on $4,500 bond and is due in court June 28. The Predators issued a statement this morning stating they are aware of what happened and will cooperate fully with law enforcement.
