Johnson leads through two rounds at the US Open

Dustin Johnson shot a 67 and at four under is the only player under par at the US Open through two rounds at Shinnecock Hills. Scott Piercy and Charley Hoffman are both even par for the tournament and tied for second place, while defending champion Brooks Koepka, Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson are among a group of players five shots off the pace.

Many big stars failed to make it to the weekend, including Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Sergio Garcia.

Louisville area native Justin Thomas is tied for 14th at four over par, while Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker is at eight over par and tied for 58th. Franklin’s Kenny Perry failed to make the cut.
