Time is running out for contestants to register to participate in the Miss Western Kentucky State Fair pageant.
Contestants must be a resident of Kentucky and be at least 16 years old, but they can’t reach their 22nd birthday before October 31st. They must never have been married and not have any children, according to organizer Carolyn Ann Cob, who appeared on WHOP Friday morning and said she needs all applications in by Monday morning.
Unlike the Miss America pageant, the local one will continue with the swimsuit competition to remain in compliance with Miss Kentucky County Fair regulations.
Applications are available at westernkystatefair.org or at Planters Bank locations in Hopkinsville.
