Zook’s Produce of Herndon and the Country Barn in Fairview are two of the 88 markets across the Commonwealth accepted into the 2018 Kentucky Farm Bureau Certified Roadside Farm Market Program.
A news release says the facilities have committed to offering quality products and service to their customers.
Zook’s Produce sells a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables along with home-baked goods, honey, jams, and jellies from June through September at their market at the intersection of KY 107 and KY 117 in Herndon. The Country Barn on Britmart Road is probably best known for its selections of flowers, but also sells locally grown fruits and vegetables.
