Hoppers get 13 inning win at Paducah

It took 13 innings, but the Hoptown Hoppers came away with an 8-6 victory at Paducah last night. The Hoppers had a 5-4 lead after seven before Paducah tied it in the ninth at 5-5. Each team plated a run in the 10th before the Hoppers scored twice in the 13th to get their 8th win of the season to go with one loss.

Cole Cummings had three hits with Blake Jackson and John Keane adding two hits. MJ Rookard pitched two flawless innings to get the win. Shane Burns was the Hoppers starter and went 5 innings allowing two runs and striking out five.
