The Christian County Colonels make their first appearance since 2008 in the KHSAA State Tournament at Whittaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington this afternoon against 15th region winner Paintsville. Colonels coach Trey Wheeler previews the Tigers:

Third region winner Muhlenberg County was eliminated Thursday by Greenup County 10-0 in six innings. Defending state champion Pleasure Ridge Park was defeated by St. X 13-7.
