Louisville baseball coach Dan McDonnell is returning for another season. McDonnell announced his intentions to return to Louisville after speculation that he was a candidate for the head coaching position at Mississippi State. He is set to make one-million dollars per year until 2026. McDonnell led the Cardinals to the regional round of the NCAA Tournament where they were eliminated by Texas Tech.
