The Western Kentucky State Fair commences two weeks from Friday and the first weekend will be quite different from the last several years.
Tony Meacham is this year’s Fair Board president and says country music singer Colt Ford will perform Friday, June 22nd at the grandstand and the Miss and Mrs. Pageants will both be Saturday.
It’s the first time in over a decade that there will be a big concert in the grandstand and Meacham says it will be professionally done.
Tickets can be purchased on the Western Kentucky State Fair website and will be available from 10 until 3 Saturday at the Fairgrounds Convention Center.
The Demolition Derby will be Saturday night in the grandstand and there will be gospel singing Sunday night at the convention center for faith and family night.
