Hoppers open season with rout of Fulton

The Hoptown Hoppers began the Brock Moss era with a convincing 20-5 win over Fulton last night at Lohaus Field. The Hoppers scored 15 of their 20 runs in the third and fourth innings, with catcher Matt Keane going 3-4 with a home run and 7 rbi. Cody Hartness and Blake Jackson also pitched in two hits and the Hoppers had 11 altogether. Brian Coffey picked up the pitching win, with Kendall Marshall collecting the save.

All other games in the OVL were rained out last night.

Tonight in the OVL: The Hoppers begin a two game series at Madisonville, Muhlenberg County welcomes Henderson, Fulton entertains Paducah and Owensboro travels to Dubois County.
