Semifinal action concluded last night at Hopkins Central with Christian County defeating Madisonville 6-4 in a suspended game from earlier in the week. Caldwell County trailed 2-0 early but rallied to defeat Crittenden County 7-2. Christian County will meet Caldwell County for the championship this afternoon at 1, with the Heritage Bank pregame show at 12:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and online at whopam.com.
The All 2nd region team was announced last night. Those on the team included Christian County’s Emmy Blane, Lexi O’Daniel, Tyler Shemwell, and Hope Jones. Others were Shelby Harbour of Hopkinsville, Hannah Colbert and Logan Darnall of Trigg County.
